10 Simple Summer Gin Cocktail Recipes

Summer is filled with time spent with friends enjoying the sun, around the BBQ and hosting summer parties. Our quick and easy Gin cocktail recipes can be created in minutes, giving you more time to party.

1. Yorkshire Garden

Created with Steve’s Apple edition, this is the perfect cocktail to enjoy with friends on a warm sunny day. (Top Tip – Enjoy for longer by creating a jug of this delicious cocktail – Simply multiple all the ingredients by 4.)

INGREDIENTS

  • 50ml Masons Steve’s Apple Edition
  • 25ml Elderflower Liqueur
  • 75ml Apple Juice
  • 10ml Lemon Juice
  • Garnish
  • Cucumber Ribbons and Lemon Zest (optional)

SERVE

  • Shake all the ingredients except the cucumber and lemon zest with ice and strain into a tall glass with filled with fresh ice
  • Garnish with cucumber ribbons and lemon zest

2. Masons Iced Tea

Simple to make and the perfect tipple for any Yorkshire Tea lover! Masons Iced Tea cocktail has a delicate balance between dry notes from Masons Tea Edition gin and sweet undertones from the elderflower. A fantastic drink to sip on, on a warm Summers day!

INGREDIENTS

  • 50ml Masons Tea Edition
  • 50ml Cold-brew tea
  • 25ml Elderflower cordial
  • Dehydrated orange or lemon zest

SERVE

  • First add a tea bag to hot water and allow to cool
  • Next fill a highball glass with ice and add all of the ingredients
  • Garnish with dehydrated orange or lemon zest

3. Raspberry Spritz

If you like something slightly sweeter, you are going to love this simple gin spritz!
(Top tip – If you don’t like it quite as sweet add slightly less raspberry syrup.)

INGREDIENTS

  • 50ml Masons The Original
  • Premium Tonic Water
  • 10ml Raspberry Syrup
  • Wedge of orange and raspberry’s

SERVE

  • Take a copa glass and fill with ice
  • Add 50ml Masons The Original and top with a premium tonic water
  • Add 10ml raspberry syrup and mix well
  • Garnish with a wedge of orange and fresh raspberries

4. Lavender and Raspberry Bramble

Born in London, but with an added Yorkshire twist, Masons Lavender edition gin and fresh Yorkshire raspberries. This modern classic mingles delicate Lavender gin with sweet Crème de Mure and sharp lemon juice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 50ml Masons Lavender Edition
  • 25ml Lemon Juice
  • Crème De Mure
  • Fresh raspberries

SERVE

  • Add the gin, lemon and sugar syrup to a shaker. Shake well. Strain into an ice-filled tumbler
  • Trickle the Crème de Mure over the top, creating the ‘bramble’ type effect
  • Garnish with fresh raspberries

5. Lavender Spritz

Delicately simple with floral notes and a refreshing finish. To create this showstopping cocktail you only need 3 ingredients, making it really easy to create for your guests arrival!

INGREDIENTS

  • 50ml Masons Lavender Edition
  • 150ml Fentimans Ltd Rose Lemonade
  • A dash of Chambord
  • Fresh raspberries and a sprig of Lavender to garnish

SERVE

  • First, take a tumbler glass and fill with ice
  • Then add the gin and top with the rose lemonade
  • Add a dash of chambord and stir
  • Finally garnish with raspberries and a sprig of Lavender

6. Summer Spritz

A twist on an Aperol Spritz and a classic G&T! In collaboration with The Ice Co we created the ‘Summer Spritz’ using our award-winning Original gin. Busting with citrussy flavours, this is the perfect serve for summertime.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 super cubes
  • 35ml Masons The Original
  • 50ml Grapefruit Juice
  • 25ml Aperol
  • 2 Tsp Marmalade
  • Premium Tonic Water
  • Orange Wedge

SERVE

  • Place 1 handful of ice and all the other ingredients except the tonic in a cocktail shaker
  • Shake well to ensure the marmalade mixes
  • Strain into a copa glass over 3 Super Cubes, top with tonic water and garnish with an orange wedge

7. Pomegranate and Tea Thyme

A great drink to sip on while chatting to friends in the sunshine. This cocktail was inspired by the turning of the seasons, hence the sweet and citrussy ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

  • 50ml Masons Tea Edition
  • 35ml Pomegranate Juice
  • 25ml Cloudy Apple Juice
  • 15ml Lemon Juice
  • 5ml Gomme Syrup
  • Pomegranate seeds and sprig of thyme

SERVE

  • Simply add all ingredients to a shaker and shake well
  • Strain into a glass full of ice and pomegranate seeds and a sprig of thyme to garnish

8. Tea and Lemon Spritz

We have taken our award-winning Tea Edition and mixed up our classic serve suggestion by using Fentimans Bitter Lemonade.

INGREDIENTS

  • 50ml Masons Tea Edition
  • Bitter Lemonade (we recommend Fentimans)
  • Lemon and sprig of rosemary

SERVE

  • First fill a copa glass with plenty of ice then add 50ml Masons Tea Edition
  • Top with bitter lemonade and mix well
  • Garnish with a twist of lemon and sprig of rosemary

9. Cucumber and Mint Gin Cooler

In the mood for something slightly more savoury? Made with fresh cucumber and mint, this cocktail is perfect for making in large batches to keep the party going!

INGREDIENTS

  • 50ml Masons Original Gin
  • 15ml Cucumber syrup
  • Premium tonic water
  • Fresh cucumber and mint
  • Cucumber syrup

SERVE

  • First muddle together 5 slices of cucumber and 2 sprigs of mint
  • Next add 50ml Masons Original gin and 15ml cucumber syrup and muddle further
  • Strain into a copa glass filled with ice
  • Top with a premium tonic water and mix together
  • Garnish with a slice of cucumber and sprig of mint

10. Apple Collins

A fruity twist on the classic Tom Collins recipe, dating back to 1876. Add more depth to your drink by using Masons Steve’s Apple edition, which is complimented perfectly by the citrus.

INGREDIENTS

  • 50ml Masons Steve’s Apple edition
  • 25ml Lemon juice
  • 35ml Sugar syrup
  • Chilled soda water
  • Sliced apple

SERVE

  • First add the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup to a highball glass and mix well
  • Next add plenty of ice and top with soda water and finish with a garnish of sliced apple
